Grant Description:

The Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Outreach in the Division of Academic Affairs and Research hereby advertises the 2026 call for internal research grant proposals aimed at promoting research activities within the University. The University has established an internal research fund to support faculty members with outstanding ideas to undertake research activities that address issues in education, business, religion, law, information technology, health, environment, energy, arts, and social sciences related to the Kenya Vision 2030, African Union (AU) Agenda 2063, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The objectives of the grants are to promote collaborative multidisciplinary research within the University and to support the development of solutions in the form of tangible products and services that address the national research agenda, as outlined in various national vision, strategy, and policy documents.
